The movie as a movie. True romantic drama. If Keira Knightley woudln‘t act, maybe then I would say that I spent movie time in vain.
Second World War years, a girl (Keira Knightley) returns to the city and meets her former love, but he appears already married to another one. But both girls befriends and start living three under one roof. hero fall in love with soldier, marries him, but he leaves to live in the war, and on the other side of the ocean three happily live their lifes together. Later feelings between the former lovers return into the action. Here everything has been going after both girls gave birth children from their husbands.

Bet abi miargos susidraugauja ir drąsiai jie gyvena tryse po vienu stogu. Įsimyli filmo herojė kareivuką, susituokia, anas išvažiuoja gyventi kare, o anoj vandenyno pusėj likę veikėjai toliau sau laimingai gyvena savo gyvenimą. Netrukus į veiksmą įsipina grįžtantys jausmai tarp buvusių mylimųjų. Ai tiesa, čia viskas vyksta jau po to, kai abi miargos augina vaikus, nuo savųjų vyrų.
Paprastas, bet ne vien apie meilę.
