”Huit fois debout”/”Eight Times Up” (2009, France)

A good French movie. The two neighbors live difficult life, cant find ány job, because they fail the job interviews. Gradually the relationship between them is initiated. The title fits well with the film structure.
I watch this movie in the cinema, but honestly do not remember when it was last time when I was in the cinema. And even the main actress came after the film yo say some words. In Vilnius the French movies festival is active this week.

Geras prancūziškas filmas. Du kaimynai sunkiai verčiasi gyvenime, niekaip nesugeba rasti darbo, nes nenusiseka darbo pokalbiai. Pamažu tarp jų užsimezga ryšys. Gerai dera pavadinimas su filmo struktūra.
Kine žiūrėjau šį filmą, bet nuoširdžiai neatsimenu, kada prieš tai paskutinį kartą buvau kine. Ir netgi pagrindinė aktorė po filmo atėjo pasilabinti. Vilniuje vyksta prancūzų kino dienos.

„8 femmes“/“8 Women“ (2002, France)

Cheap French musical. As a detective it’s not so bad, but the songs did not fit in this film.
For inexpensiveness it is probably not true because well-known actors play here, but all the action takes place just in one house. Surprise denouement.

Pigus prancūziškas miuziklas. Kaip detektyvas būtų visai nieko, bet dainos nelabai dera šiame filme.
Dėl pigumo tai realiai matyt ne, nes garsių aktorių čia vaidina, tačiau visas veiksmas vyksta viename name. Nustebino atomazga.

„The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader“ (2010)

After watching the third part, I was convinced that it is worth watching the first two films:)
Funny story, with many of the action effects. Exciting scenes on board and at sea.

”The Good, The Bad & The Ugly“ (1966)

The last movie with Clint Eastwood played Man with No Name. The best of all. Yes, long - almost three hours, but worthy movie.
Action takes time during the American Civil War. Even combined with the famous battle for the bridge when the bridge was blown up. The action revolves around a stolen Confederate gold. For it fight three heroes: two bounty hunters and hired killer.
Breathtaking scenery where two hunters have conspired to take the bonus prize, one of them being in gallows, another shoot a rope and they both run away with money and without casualties. Of course, the battle for the bridge, a trip through the desert and the final scene in the cemetery.
It's fun to hear the melody in these films, which is used by Metallica before their concerts.

Paskutinysis filmas su Clint Eastwood vaidinamu bevardžiu herojumi. Geriausias iš visų. Taip, ilgas – beveik trys valandos, bet vertas dėmesio filmas.
Veiksmas vyksta JAV pilietinio karo metais. Netgi įkomponuotas garsusis mūšis dėl tilto, kai tiltas buvo susprogdintas. Filmo veiksmas sukasi apie pavogtą konfederatų auksą. Dėl jo kovoja trys herojai: du premijų medžiotojai ir vienas samdomas žudikas.
Įspūdingos scenos: kai du premijų medžiotojai susimokė pasiimti premiją, vienam jų pasiduodant ir jau esant jam kartuvėse, nušaunant virvę ir pabėgant su pinigais ir be aukų. Žinoma, mūšis dėl tilto, kelionė per dykumą ir finalinė scena kapinėse.
Smagu šiuose filmuose girdėti melodiją, kurią naudoja Metallica prieš pradėdami savo koncertą.

„For A Few Dollars More“ (1965)

A second film with Clint Eastwood role Man with No Name. Better than the first. Strange that sound of shots come earlier than the shot, but it‘s excusable for an old movie,.
In the film the two main characters are bounty hunters - they individually hunt criminals for a fee. And eventually join forces against a gang.
An impressive scene is the last duel and fun episode after it, when one of heroes loads the bodies and calculates a money, lying in his cart :)

Antrasis bevardžio Clint Eastwood herojaus filmas. Geresnis už pirmą. Keistoka buvo girdėti šūvių garsą ankstesnį už patį šūvį, bet kaip senam filmui, atleistina.
Filme pagrindiniai herojai yra du premijų medžiotojai – jie pavieniui medžioja nusikaltėlius už atlygį. Ir galų gale suvienija jėgas prieš vieną gaują.
Įspūdinga paskutinioji dvikovos scena ir linksmas epizodas, kai po jos vienas herojų krauna nukautuosius į vežimą ir skaičiuoja premiją, gulinčią vežime :)

“Robin Hood” (2010)

The background of the legend of Robin Hood or how in England era of ourlaws. And as we have seen in a documentary film, exactly from outlaw people arose the legend of Robin Hood.
Because I love historical movies with lots of fighting scenes, I really enjoyed this movie. The film, featuring the fun and laughter, and love story and strong relationship between father and son. The film talked about the times when Richard the Lionheart returned from Crusade and along the way, fighting with the French (at that time England had teritory in the French land), was killed. Government has taken over by his brother John. But he was very modest with his people – rased the taxes, so the civil war arose and all of the result, citizens who wanted some liberties have been called outlaws.

Robin Hood priešistorė arba pasakojimas, kaip Anglijoje atsirado žmonių, esančių už įstatymo ribų, era. O kaip jau matėme dokumentiniame filme, būten iš šių išvarytų žmonių tarpo ir kilo legenda apie Robin Hood.
Kadangi aš mėgstu istorinius filmus, kuriuose būna kovos scenų, tai filmas tikrai patiko. Filmas, kuriame įdiegta ir linksmų juokų, ir meilės istorija, ir stiprus ryšys tarp tėvo ir sūnaus. Filme šnekama apie laikus, kai Ričardas Liūtaširdis grįžo iš kryžiaus žygio ir pakeliui, bekariaudamas su prancūzais (tuo metu Anglija buvo išsiplėtusi prancūzų teritorijoje) žuvo. Valdžią perėmė jo brolis Džionas. Bet jis nebuvo labai nuosaikus savo paladiniams – apdėjo juos mokesčiais, tad kilo pilietinis karas ir viso to pasekoje miestiečiai, norėję šiek tiek laisvių buvo skelbiami už įstatymo ribų.

“Never Let Me Go” (2010)

A film about love:)
In reality, this film is about people who have been raised for one purpose, that in adults age would become donors. And in this background appears love story between two youngsters. However, love triangle appears, a guy was taken by girl’s best friend.
After all, brutal film. Cruel is to know that you live for one purpose to become a donor.

Realiai, tai filmas apie žmones, kurie buvo auginami vienam tikslui, kad suaugę būtų donorais. Ir į šią istoriją yra įpainiota meilės istorija tarp dviejų jaunuolių. Tačiau bachūrą nukabina geriausia merginos draugė.
Šiaip, žiaurus filmas. Žiauru yra žinoti, kad tu gyveni tam, kad būtum donoras.

“9 Songs” (2004, Great Britain)

In the case it’s a pornography, it is one of the best seen pornographic films. If this is erotic, this is one of the best erotic films that I saw. And really the only one which I watched from the beginning to the end.
Film is controversial, because of its sexual content, which included various variations of act. However, the construction isn’t Hollywoodian, the sex scenes are not very long, and they aren’t enlongened, a girl is not a terrible silicone beauty.
What makes a sense in the movie is its structure, and music. Sexual passion is matched by a couple with a passion for rock concerts and epizodes from Antarctica because a young man is a glaciologist. In the film nine songs were performed by eight groups. The first and last song in the movie was performed by my favorite band “Black Rebel Motorcycle Club”. At least for this group, this movie has earned my sympathy.

Jeigu tai pornografija, tai vienas geriausių mano matytų pornografinių filmų. Jeigu tai erotika, tai vienas geriausių mano matytų erotinių filmų. Ir tikrai vienintelis, kurį nuoširdžiai pažiūrėjau nuo pradžios iki galo.
Kontroversiškas filmas, su atviromis sekso scenomis ir įvairiomis aktų variacijomis. Tačiau pastatymas neholiduvinis, sekso scenos neilgos, jos neplėtojamos ir miarga nėra baisi silikoninė gražuolė.
Dėl ko filmas man labiausiai patiko, tai dėl savo struktūros ir muzikos. Seksualinė poros aistra yra derinama su aistra roko koncertams ir vaizdais iš Antarktidos, man jaunuolis yra glaciologas. Filme skamba 9 dainos, atliktos 8 grupių. Pirma ir paskutinė filmo daina atliekama mano taip mylimos grupės ”Black Rebel Motorcycle Club”. Vien dėl šios grupės šis filmas pelnė mano simpatijas.

“A Fistful of Dollars” (1964)

Classic western, the movie with Clint Eastwood. And that’s all said.
The stranger who is clearly a tough guy, hard-shooting enters the town. Two families seek to manage city, one of which is the sheriff's side. The second family appears engaged in dirty crafts. Mexican soldiers which had bought weapons from the Americans are attacked, and they are exterminated and robbed by second family. Well, it is clear the rest takes Clint Eastwood.
Strange to watch a movie, that’s sound was recorded in a studio, for example, when sound of a hot comes earlier that a shot and sounds of shots sometimes are really strange.

Į miestelį atvyksta nepažįstamasis, kuris aišku yra kietas bičas, kietai šaudo. Miestelį siekia valdyti dvi šeimos, kurių viena yra šerifo pusė. Antroji šeima pasirodo užsiima nešvariais darbeliais. Užpuola meksikiečių kareivių būrį, kuris pirko ginklus iš amerikiečių ir juos išžudę apiplėšia. Na ir aišku tvarkos imasi Clint Eastwood.
Keista žiūrėti filmą, kurio garsas įrašytas studijoje, kai šūvio garsas seka prieš šūvį ar tiesiog labai keisti tie šūvio garsai.

One young guy sees a murder and leaves a butt of marijuana, known as "Pineapple Express" name. In a case of butt they got know his friend who distributes it and start to hunt them. Unbelievable gangster’s name movie with lots of shooting ...
Movie that emphasize a friendship.

„Swing Vote” (2008)

The film, based on practically imposible, proving that every voter's vote is important. Main theme - the father and daughter's love.
The girl grows up with a father who is a regular guy - has a regular job, like drinking. Meanwhile, his daughter is a sincere patriot and a good school student. On election day, the father promised to his daughter to go to vote, although he at least care about the election. Praktiškai neįmanoma aplinkybe paremtas filmas, įrodantis, kad kiekvieno rinkėjo balsas yra svarbus. Filmas, kurio svarbiausia tema – tėvo ir dukters meilė.
Mergaitė auga su tėvu, kuris yra paprastas žmogelis – dirba paprastą darbą, mėgsta girtauti. Tuo tarpu jo dukra nuoširdi patriotė ir pavyzdinė mokyklos mokinė. Rinkimų dieną tėvas pažadėjo dukrai nueiti balsuoti, nors jam tie rinkimai mažiausiai rūpi. Tačiau tą dieną yra išmetamas iš darbo, užgeria bare ir vėlai prisiminęs, kad reikia balsuoti, nesėkmingai bando skubėti, tačiau balsadėžės nepasiekia. ”Ten Inch Hero” (2007)

At first sight it appeared as a naive film that deserves the name of a cheap comedy, because the beginning of the movie is made from stereotype episodes, introducing the film actors. After these episodes, the movie becomes more interesting. The main theme - a true love oulatsts everything.
The girl, who gave birth to a daughter at a young age, but could not hold her and gave her for an adoption, enters the city. So, considering that her daughter is living in this city. She is employed in a café, which boss is desperately in love with one woman. The other three workers are better that each another: strange punk with distinct hairstyles, computer girl who talks with a guy through an Internet, although did not see him in her life and another girl, who spends night with everyone guy who whants it.

Iš pradžių pasirodė naivus filmas, vertas pigios komedijos vardo, nes filmo pradžia sudėlio iš stereotipinių epizodų, pristatančių filmo veikėjus. Ją pražiūrėjus, filmas tampa įdomesnis. Pagrindinė tema – tikra meilė, nugalinti viską.
Į miestelį atvyksta mergiotė, kuri jaunystėj pagimdė dukrą, bet negalėdama jos išauginti atidavė ją įvaikinimui. Tad manydama, kad jos dukra gyvena šiame mieste, ir atsikraustė. Įsidarbina ji kavinėj, kurios vadas beviltiškai įsimylėjęs vieną moterį. Kiti trys darbuotojai yra vienas už kitą geresni: keistas pankas, su išskirtine šukuosena, programuotoja, bendraujanti su vienu jaunuoliu internetu, nors nėra jo gyvenime susitikus ir dar viena mergina, kuri leidžia naktis su visais iš eilės bachūrais.
Gražūs mergiotės, ieškančios savo dukters, piešiniai.

”The Lucky Ones” (2008)

Really good movie. Travel changes people, friendship appeared in travel time is very strong. Friendship in this film helps to survive the hardships of life.
Three American heroes come back from military mission. The fate brings them together into the car trip across America, because flights from New York are canceled. One soldier decided to end the career of a soldier and after two years in army returns home. Tikrai geras filmas. Kelionės keičia žmones, draugystė, atsiradusi kelionės metu būna labai stipri. Būtent draugystė šiame filme ir padeda išgyventi gyvenimo negandas.
Po karinės misijos Amerikon grįžta trys herojai, kuriuos likimas suveda kelionej automobiliu skersai Ameriką, nes skrydžiai iš New Yorko atšaukiami. Vienas kareivis nusprendė baigti kareivio karjerą ir po dviejų metų grįžta namo. Mergina, skeveldros sužeista į koją, nori nuvežti kariniuose veiksmuose žuvusio vaikino, kuris jai išgelbėjo gyvybę, gitarą jo tėvams. Trečias kelionės bendražygis per užpuolimą buvo sužeistas į baisiai nepatogią vietą ir nori pradelsti susitikimą su savo mergina, kol neatsistatė seksualinis pajėgumas.

”Last Voices Of World War I” (2008)

Documentary, created from World War 1 veterans interwies filmed in early 1990s. Indeed, it is unbelievable that in 2008 was still one surviving veteran of the war (in Britain), 110 years old. It‘s really powerful movie. One thing is to listen of the military narrative, which does not show into people's experiences. Of course, it‘s horrible to hear about an unprecedented losses. Of course militaric documentary series are illustrate by the various memories. But it‘s different to hear memories from the people who have seen war, is much more horrible.
In the beginning of the war people with an incredibly naive patriotism wnet for volunteer. They expected a different lifestyle, overseas trips, new land and a fast end of the war. 1918 draftees totally different approach - if all was well aware of how cruel the war. Running through the front at the Battle of the Somme - the seeing your falling friends. Depressing waiting in G. Britain for their son, brother, husband, parents' fates on the front line. Sad news from relatives that your fiancee meets another guy. War doctors, nurses, people recovering wounded men from no man's land memories. Dirty attack in 1917, when the order was issued do not help for whose are stucked in mud pits – they are left to quietly drown or die of hunger, the horses are shot.
This is a major human tragedy by eyes of the people who saw it.

Iš tikrųjų neįtikėtina, kad 2008 dar buvo likęs gyvas vienas karo veteranas (D. Britanijoje), 110 metų. Pats filmas neįtikėtinai stiprus. Viena yra klausytis karinio pasakojimo, kuriame nesigilinama į žmonių išgyvenimus. Kraupu girdėti neregėto masto nuostolius. Žinoma, praeitos dokumentikos serijos taip pat buvo iliustruojamos įvairiais atsiminimais. Tačiau, kai savo atsiminimus gyvai pasakoja karą matę žmonės, būna kraupu.
Pradedant neįtikėtinai naiviu patriotizmu, užsirašant į savanorių būrį. Tikintis kitokio gyvenimo būdo, pažintinės kelionės į užjūrį, greito karo pabaigos. Visai kitoks 1918 šauktinių požiūris – kai visi puikiai žinojo kokio žiaurumo šis karas. Bėgimos per frontą Somos mūšyje – stebint, kaip nyksta iš akiračio tavo draugai. Slegiantis laukinas D. Karo medikų, slaugių, žmonių, surenkančių sužeistuosiu iš niekieno žemės atsiminimai, purvinasis 1917 puolimas, kai buvo duodamas įsakymas negelbėti žmonių, arklių įklimpusių purvo duobėse – jie paliekami ramiai nuskęsti ar mirti iš bado, arkliai nušaunami.
Tai didžioji žmonijos tragedija tų žmonių, kurie ją mantė, akimis.

”History Channel - World War I: The Broken Promises/ Victory and Revolution” (1998)

Relatively short overview of the World War 1. I have seen a much more detailed documentaries about this conflict, so for me this movie was quick repeat what I know.
Key facts are immutable. This war had to be war, ending all other wars. How simply it was expected to be fast, aggressive, maybe devastating, but victorious war. The war, which the generals had promised to end by Christmas, but as the soldiers later joked, they did not say by which Christmas. European civil war, which became a world war. Bloodiest war in French history, cleared both French and German and English peoples of the strongest, the healthiest of men. Europe has suffered 35 million military losses, of which 10 million are dead, but it is just military loss.

Gana trumpa viso Pirmojo pasaulinio karo apžvalga. Kadangi buvau matęs žymiai išsamesnių filmų, šis man buvo greitas pasikartojimas, ką žinau.
Svarbiausi faktai vis tiek nekintami. Šis karas turėjo būti karas, pabaigsiantis visus kitus karus. Kaip naiviai buvo tikimasi jis turėjo būti greitas, veržlus, gal nuostolingas, bet pergalingas karas. Karas, kurį generolai žadėjo baigti iki Kalėdų, bet kaip kareiviai vėliau juokavo, jie nepasakė iki kurių Kalėdų. Europos pilietinis karas, kuris pavirto pasauliniu karu. Kruviniausias karas Prancūzijos istorijoje, išvalęs tiek prancūzų, tiek vokiečių ir anglų tautas nuo stipriausių, sveikiausių vyrų. Europa patyrė 35 mln karinių nuostolių, iš kurių 10 mln yra žuvę, nekalbant apie civilius.

”BBC Timewatch - Zeppelin the First Blitz” (2007)

History Zeppelins. How they threatened the British population.
During World War 1 Zeppelins were pretty effective weapons. They flied the longest distance, they were massive machines, able to raise large loads, so it is not surprising that soon they were used for bombing. 1915 was the first time they were used for bombing British cities. This raised an unprecedented panic among the population. In 1916, the British successfully implemented anti-Zeppelinian artillery and fighter jets began to use exploding bullets and the Germans suffered a considerable loss. Zeppelins eventually were forced to fly in a high altitude, and in 1917 their role was gradually took by the first bombers. Probably the first attack by the bomber struck the school killed several five-year children. Englishmen did not like it. However for Germans it was a good introduction for the World War 2.

Pirmojo pasaulinio karo metais zepelinai buvo gana efektyvus ginklas. Jie skraidydavo ilgiausius atstumus, buvo masyvūs, galėjo pakelti didžiulius krovinius, tad nenuostabu, kad netrukus jie buvo naudojami bombardavimui. 1915 metais pirmą sykį buvo jie buvo panaudoti Anglijos miestų bombardavimui. Tai kėlė neregėtą paniką tarp gyventojų. 1916 metais anglai sėkmingai įdiegė priešzepelininę artileriją ir naikintuvuose pradėjo naudoti sprogstančias kulkas ir vokiečiai patyrė gana nemažų nuostolių. ”The Battle of the Somme” (2003)

One of the most pointell battles in the military history. Together with the Battle of the Verdun Somme perfectly reflects the essence of the First World War.
Generals errors, perfect defense weapons and lack of offensive tactics made tragic consequences. The first day of battle on 1 July 1916 was the bloodiest day of British history - the loss of 60 thousand, 20 thousand of whom were dead. The entire battle lasted for 4.5 month, called the general sum of about 1.1 million loss. During this battle the Allies to advance within 10 kilometers deep into the German lands. Each meter of territory claimed 100 men lost (wounded or dead).

Venas iš beprasmiškiausių mūšių karinėj istorijoj. Kartu su Verdunu Somos mūšis puikiai atspindi Pirmojo Pasaulinio karo esmę.
Generolų klaidos, gynybinių ginklų tobulumas ir puolamosios taktikos trūkumas lėmė klaikias pasekmes. Pirmoji mūšio diena 1916 liepos 1 d. buvo pati kruviniausia diena D. Britanijos istorijoje – 60 tūkstančių nuostolių, iš kurių 20 tūkstančių žuvusių. Visas mūšis, trukęs 4,5 mėnesio pareikalavo bendroj sumoj daugmaž 1,1 mln nuostolių. Per šį mūšį Sąjungininkai pasistūmė per 10 km gilyn į vokiečių žemes. Kiekvienas metras teritorijos pareikalavo 100 kritusių vyrų.

”Fighting Aircraft of WW1” (2008)

In this movie an overview of military aircraft used in World War I is given quite consistent, from scout planes to fighters and bombers. Indeed, it is fantastic that just a decade after the first manned flight, planes fully joined the military industry. The film reveals a interesting military airplane race during the war between the Allied and Central forces. But mostly Germans were ahead in this technological battle. The main reason I think were good quality engines.
The outbreak of war in 1914 the planes rather quickly took over scouts positions from the cavalry. Often, riders become pilots. In 1915 the Germans developed a mechanism to shoot through the propeller and created first fighters. In 1917 the first bombers were created and London was bombed the first time by bombers.
The most important aviation persons are aces. Fighter pilot who drove down at least five enemy planes got the ace name. The coolest of the coolest was the German Manfred von Richthofen, known as the Red Baron. His legend was born after his eleventh victim of the French ace. He painted his aircraft in red to be clearly visible in both his colleagues and the enemy. Within two years of service he shot down 80 enemy, and was killed on April 21 1918. The most impressive that enemies buried him with the full military respect.

Gana nuosekliai šiame filme apžvelgiami karo lėktuvai, naudoti Pirmajame Pasauliniame kare: nuo žvalgybinių lėktuvų iki naikintuvų ir bombonešių. Iš tikrųjų neįtikėtina, kad praėjus vos dešimtmečiui pirmojo pilotuojamo skrydžio, lėktuvai taip sparčiai įsiliejo į karinę pramonę. Filme gerai atskleidžiamos karinių lėktuvų varžybos per karą tarp Sąjungininkų ir Centrinių pajėgų. Bet dažniausiai vokiečiai būdavo priekyje šioje technologinėje kovoje. Didžiąja dalimi dėl patikimų variklių.
Prasidėjus karui 1914 metais lėktuvai gana greitai iš kavalerijos perėmė žvalgų pozicijas. Dažnai raiteliai tapdavo lakūnais. 1915 metais vokiečiams sukūrus mechanizmą, leidžiantį šaudyti per propelerį, buvo sukurti pirmi naikintuvai. 1917 sukurti pirmieji bombonešiai ir bombarduotas Londonas.
Svarbiausi aviacijos asmenys – asai. Naikintuvų lakūnas po 5 numuštų priešo lėktuvų įgydavo aso vardą. Kiečiausias iš kiečiausių buvo vokietis Manfred von Richthofen, pramintas Raudonuoju Baronu. Jo legenda gimė, kai jo vienuoliktąja auka tapo prancūzų asas. Savo lėktuvą, kad būtų aiškiai matomas tiek savo kolegų, tiek priešų jis dažė raudonai. Per dvejus metus tarnybos jis numušė 80 priešų, o pats buvo nukautas 1918 balandžio 21 dieną. Smagiausia, kad priešai jį palaidojo su didžiausia pagarba.

It's something perfect.
Excellent work by Americans, linking education with entertainment. Maybe there are entertainment more than science. Overall, maybe not even a science, and engineering. People take the weirdest various myths. Checks whether or not they have any good reason or not. Quite often appear various explosions and destruction. After all, to watch it is really fun as these series are filled with intelligent humor.
Frequently funny and comical episodes are generated comparing the two programs hosts – one calm, emotionless, but the remarkable engineering skills with another expressive and highly emotional man.
So far, I watched three seasons (now the seventh is broadcasting). Myths often range from a cannon made of wood, escape from Alcatraz, speaking effect on plant growth and so on.
I am really surprized how people get so much money to prepare for such broadcasts. But I think that for education the issue redeems all the investments.

Tai kažkas tobulo.
Puikus amerikonų darbas, siejantis mokslą su pramoga. Gal čia pramogos daugiau nei mokslo. Apskritai, gal net ne mokslo, o inžinerijos. Žmonės imasi įgyvendinti įvairius keisčiausius mitus. Tikrina ar jie turi kokio rimto pagrindo, ar ne. Gana dažnoj laidoj pasitaiko įvairių sprogimų ar destrukcijų. Šiaip smagiai žiūrisi, nes sukergta su protinga humoro doze.
Dažniausiai juokingi ar komiški epizodai sukuriami gretinant du vienas kitą papildančius laidų vedėjus – ramų, neemocionalų, bet puikių inžinerinių sugebėjimų vaikį su ekspresyviu ir itin emocionaliu jaunuoliu.
Kol kas peržiūrėjau tris sezonus (dabar transliuojamas septintas). Mitai būna patys įvairiausi: patranka iš medžio, pabėgimas iš Alkatraso, kalbėjimo poveikis augalų augimui ir taip toliau.
Netgi keista, kad žmonės gauna tiek daug pinigų, tokioms laidoms rengti. Bet manau, kad tokia švietėjiška laida atperka visas investicijas.

"Paris la visite" (2002)

I watched the movie the day before personally going to Paris. Quite a good documentary film, looking around, what to expect in Paris and what it's worth to see.
This movie little bit passed with my wishes and purposes, but the most important sites have been mentioned. In any case, this movie proves once again that you need to go back to Paris again and again.

Filmą pažiūrėjau dieną prieš iškeliaudamas į Paryžių. Visai geras dokumentinis filmas, apsižvalgymui, ko galima tikėtis Paryžiuje ir ką verta pamatyti.
Su mano norais ir tikslais kiek prasilenkė, bet svarbiausios vietos buvo apšnekėtos. Bet kuriuo atveju, šis filmas tik dar kartą įrodo, kad reikia į Paryžių grįžti dar ir dar kartą.

”Maradona by Kusturica” (2008)

Cool movie created by cool director.
Maybe it is not the best Kusturica‘s movie, but it is not a feature film. This is a documentary, which is created by three-year video filmed by Kusturica who attended Maradona. The film consists of his interviews and thoughts about football, society and politics. He supports the Cuban government eerily and curse the Americans. It's like a movie dedicated to a good friend. Strange to see what kind of madness of known stars sometimes appear. For example, his name church are set up, which owns their own rites by which people are get married. In any way, Maradona was one of the best football players in the world.

Kieto režisieriaus kietas filmas.
Galbūt ne pats geriausias Kusturicos filmas, bet jis ir nėra vaidybinis filmas. Tai dokumentinis filmas, sukaltas iš kokių trejų metų vaizdo medžiagos, kurią Kusturica prifilmavo, lankydamas Maradoną. Filmas susideda iš jo interviu, minčių apie futbolą, visuomenę ir politiką. Jis klaikiai palaiko Kubos valdžią ir keikia amerikiečius. Tai tarsi filmas, dedikuotas geram draugui. Keista matyti, kokio pamišimo kartais sulaukia žvaigždės, kad yra įkuriamos jo vardo bažnyčios, kurios savo sukurtomis apeigomis tuokia žmones ir pan. Tačiau bet kuriuo atveju, Maradona buvo vienas geriausių pasaulio futbolininkų.

”Burn After Reading” (2008)

I saw this movie the second time. I got such a strong impression on the first time. I was really attracted by Brad Pitt, who played an unusual role for him in the movie - stupid young men, trying to act as a cool guy.
Strange story. Dismissed CIA agent writes memoirs, his wife wants divorce, so she copies his memoirs file to transmit lawyer, but the latter looses a CD at the gym. This CD is found by the employee who thinks that this secret material will profit her benefits. She asks the memoir author's for some ransom, but he denies and a woman contacts the Russian embassy. The CIA comes in full action for a stupid reason.
Strange is that a worker who found a memoir, and wanted a money for plastic surgery, finally gets it. She lost two friends, but received the money for transaction . CIA at the end of the film acknowledges that they have learned nothing.
In short, truly unique movie.

Antrą kartą pasižiūrėjau šį filmą. Tokį stiprų įspūdį paliko pirmąjį kartą. Iš ties patraukė Brad Pitt, kuris šiame filme atliko sau neįprastą vaidmenį – kvailo jaunuolio, vaidinančio kietą bičą.
Istorija keista. Atleistas CŽV agentas rašo atsiminimus, su juo nori skirtis žmona, tad nusikopina jo memuarų failą, perduoda advokatei, o šioji pameta kompaktą sporto klube. Tą kompaktą ranka darbuotoja ir pamaniusi, kad tai slapta medžiaga siekia pelnytis iš to naudos. Prašo išpirkos pačio memuarų autoriaus, bet negavus kreipiasi į Rusijos ambasadą ir CŽV dar labiauįsukami į veiksmą dėl menkutės priežasties.
Keisčiausia, kad toji darbuotoja, kuri rado memuarus ir norėjo išpirkos dėl plastinės operacijos, galų gale gauna savo. Prarado du draugus, bet už operaciją pinigų gavo, o CŽV filmo gale pripažįsta, kad jie visiškai nieko nepasimokė.
Žodžiu, tikrai išskirtinis filmas.

”A Christmas Carol” (2009)

Film is based on the same name Charles Dickens's novel. I’ve already seen an older movie based on this scenario, so I knew that story.
Old man named Scrooge accumulates wealth and counts each his earned penny, as he sees total happiness in his money, pay no attention to the people. Other fear him6 citizents of retreat from his road. In Christmas night he is visited by a nightmare – in a dream one after the other comes to him three spirits: the spirit of Christmas past, present and future. They represent to him his own and his friends'lives. In short, it appeals to human emotion. And the three spirits for Scrooge turn perception of happiness.
The film is as a film. Except of a great story is no more non-exceptional. Computer animation, a lot of visual effects - these things create suggestion. City seems to have a good background and funny episodes. It is alive and beautiful to look at.

Filmas sukurtas pagal Charles Dickens to paties pavadinimo novelę. Pagal šį scenarijų jau matęs senesnį filmą, tad istorija jau buvo žinoma.
Pasenęs jaunuolis, vardu Skrudžas, kaupia turtus ir skaičiuoja kiekvieną penį, nes turte mato laimę ir visai nekreipia dėmesio į žmones. Jo aplinkiniai bijosi, mėstelienai traukiasi iš kelio. Kalėdų naktį jį aplanko košmaras – Sapne pas jį atkeliauja viena po kitos trys dvasios: praeities Kalėdų dvasia, dabarties Kalėdų dvasia ir ateities Kalėdų dvasia. Jos rodo žmogeliui jo paties ir jo pažįstamų gyvenimus. Žodžiu, apeliuoja į jo žmogiškuosius jausmus. Ir šios trys dvasios apverčia Skrudžo laimės suvokimą.
Filmas kaip filmas. Be puikios istorijos niekuo daugiau neypatingas. Kompiuterinė animacija, daug vaizdo efektų – šiais dalykais kuriama įtaiga. Smagiai atrodo miestas fone, linksmų epizodų galima pamatyt. Jis gyvas ir gražus pažiūrėti.
