I watched this film for the second time. I love the line-ships era, so for me this film is truly amazing. Shows some routine of sailors - sleeping in their terms, change of watches. but the essence of the film – a British frigate that has been tasked to seize the French line of the ship, larger than the frigate. Beautiful fighting scenes, a visit to the Galapagos Islands, the master‘s memory of vice-admiral Nelson, who at the time, even before the battle of Trafalgar was the brightest star in the British Navy.

Antrą kartą pasižiūrėjau šį filmą. Kadangi aš dievinu linijinių laivų erą, tad man šis filmas tikrai nuostabus. Truputėlis parodoma jūreivių rutinos - jų miegojimo sąlygos, pamainų keitimasis. o filmo esmė, kad britų fregata gavo užduotį sučiupti prancūzų linijinį laivą, didesnį už fregatą. smagios mūšių scenos, apsilankymas Galapagų salose, laivo kapitono prisiminimai apie viceadmirolą Nelsoną, kuris tuo metu, dar prieš Trafalgaro mūšį buvo ryškiausia britų laivyno žvaigždė.
